It's the 15th of hte month so it's time for another Classy Card Ladies challenge! This month Darlene and I are hostesses and we decided on a a humor theme. Since it's October, I also went with a halloween themed kit for Barb, Suzy, Carol and Kelly to play with!
The sentiment is "I know the voices aren't real, but they have some great ideas" Ha ha I love that one. The sentiment and cat image are from CMS 407 Snarky Cat Halloween by Tim Holtz. I believe it is a 2020 release (TH never retires his stamps by the way) I sent a variety of sentiments with the cat image so I am curious to see what everyone else will pick!
Also I used hte sketch for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge so I iwll be entering this card in that challenge!
Thanks for stopping by! Hugs ~ LJ
Howdy Ya'll!
Our them this month for the Classy Card Ladies is "Wild, Wild, West". Suzy has sent us (the diamonds) a western themed kit. Which I totally love :) The Cowboy Cat image is from The Graphic Word. I used my own sentiment (MFT). I colored the image with my Stampin Blend Markers (SU) and used a number of dies from Taylored Expressions. The enamel dots in the upper left hand corner are from Gina Marie.
Since I have been travelling the last 10 days I have not been able to check out what the rest of the ladies have created. That will be on my to-do list this weekend as I relax and get ready to go back to work on Monday. :)

It's the 15th of the month so it's time for another Classy Card Ladies Duel! Kelly is our hostess this month and she set us a bright and cheery card kit with a sweet little girl from CC Designs. When I first saw the cloud frame die from Scrappy Tales, I immediately thought it would be perfect for a shaker card. I really don't remember the last time I made a shaker card, or how I made one so I kind of "winged" it :) I didn't have acetate which is what I guess is normally used for shaker cards, but I had some page protectors so I trimmed one of those down. The sweet girl image was colored with Stampin Blends.
I honestly haven't looked at clouds for random shapes in a number of years. I did especially when I was younger. I am a bit of a weather geek so I get a little excited when a wall or shelf cloud rolls in ahead of a thunderstorm.

Hello Hello!
Another day another sketch challenge! I tend to do these in spurts. I recently came across the Sunday Stamps Challenge Blog and I really liked this sketch so I decided to give it a try using Everything is Rosy (retired) from Stampin Up! I can always use more Birthday cards!
Here is the sketch:

Hello Hello -
June is our "break" month from Classy Card Ladies. So why am I posting on the 15th? Well because our sweet Kelly decided to send us all the same kit this month to play with. Here are the details:
I live in Miami and we are all about the beach and tropics and a popular saying here, as well as stickers on nearly every car, is #SaltLife! I looked through my stash and saw this ‘roaming gnome’ ready for summer and bought the matching paper for us to use. The rest is all from my stash.
Image: Photo Play Tulla and Norbert's Excellent Adventure Collection and matching paper collection and stamped onto #110 Recollections with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Embellishments are from my stash: Altenew enamel dots, prima flower, brads are Making Memories, etc\ Ribbons: Hobby Lobby, misc brands
I had a lot of fun playing with this colorful kit and I am sure everyone else did too! I colored the main image with my Stampin Blends die cut it with Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles, then used a stitched tag die from Paper Rose. I absolutely love these tag dies. I punched out the sentiment with a circle punch then layerd it up 2 more times on some matching cardstock from my stash. I finished it up with some enamel dots and twine that Kelly included in the kit
